小学英语说课稿
Good morning/afternoon, distinguish judges and teachers. I’m contestant NO.__. Today it’s my great my honor to be here and share my teaching ideas with all of you. My presentation includes six parts. To make it clear, I’ll explain my lesson from the following aspects: first, analysis of teaching content; second, analysis of students; third, teaching aims ; fourth, teaching methods; fifth, teaching aids; the last part, teaching procedure. In the first place, let’s focus on the analysis of teaching content. The textbook I use is taken from the first period of unit 3 How old are you of Oxford English book. It mainly deals with some numbers. By learning this period, it can lay a sound foundation for their further study of this unit. Secondly, let’s talk about the Ss. Our Ss are in grade 3. Maybe some of them have learnt English for 2 or 3 years. They have got some basic knowledge about English. What’s more, they have learnt these numbers in previous lesson. I think it’s not very difficult for them to master the new words and the key structures.
Thirdly, it’s about the teaching aims. This part includes three elements: knowledge aims, ability aims and emotional aims. By the end of my class, my Ss will be able to read and spell the new words and phrases and understand the meanings of these new words and phrases. I will try my best to improve the Ss’ integrated skills. It consists of reading, speaking, writing and listening. And I will also encourage Ss to cooperate with others. Furthermore, I will let three kinds of elements run through the whole lesson.
Fourthly, it’s about the teaching methods. According to the Ss’ characteristics, I will mainly use task-based teaching method. That’s to say, I will make efforts to create an authentic situation and place the Ss into it. And I will arrange some activities such as singing, playing games to make my class more interesting and vivid.
Fifthly, it’s about the teaching aids. Before my class , some pictures, tape, PPT will be prepared. I will adopt CAI model to make my class run smoothly and efficiently.
Last but not least, here come the teaching procedures. I will divide my teaching procedures into five steps: step 1 Warming up; step2 Presentation; step 3 Practice and consolidation; step4 Summary; step 5 Homework. Now let’s move to the first step. Before my class, I will divide my class into two groups, the boys’ group and the girls’ group. They will get a sticker for each group respectively if they can answer my questions correctly or do a good job. So, firstly, I will let the Ss listen to a song called “Ten Little Indians”. This song can arouse Ss’ interests in learning English and let the Ss be exposed to the new words firstly. Then, I will have a self-introduction.
Step 2 Presentation, I will use PPT to present some pictures about numbers. For example, No.2 looks like a duck. Let the Ss have a good expression on these numbers and ask Ss to read after me three times.
Step 3 Practice and consolidation .First, I will let the Ss to listen to the tape and answer the question “How old is Mike?” He is …… This is the key structure of this period. Next, translate the dialogue into Chinese simply
and properly. The dialogue is very simple, but more attention should be paid to the Ss’ pronunciation and correcting them when necessary. Then, give Ss two or three minutes to practice the dialogue with their partners and ask several Ss to stand up and act the dialogue out. Certainly, I will use incentive words to appraise them for their better performances, such as “Good, Very good, Excellent, Keep up to the good work ” . Finally, I will play the game named hide-and-seek with the Ss. I will hide the card in a place in the classroom and choose one student to find the card. The other Ss will help him by reading the number in higher and lower voice. The higher voice, the closer to the number card; the lower voice, the further to the card
Step 4 Summary At the end of my class, I will make a short revision of what we have learnt in this period and assign homework..
Step 5 Homework.
1. Read the new words and the dialogue after the tape.
2. Write the four-skilled words three times on their exercise books.
3. preview the second period of this unit.
